Every Organization's Mission Should be Evident in Their Work

Rachel & Mark are on the shortlist of all-time favorite clients. CES handled the food and drinks for their 40ish person rooftop wedding. Four years after their wedding, I was spending a casual Sunday enjoying a cigar on the roof deck of one of my favorite bars when a woman walked over to me. I assumed she might have a complaint about my cigar, or maybe say that I reminded her of her grandpa who smoked cigars. Instead, she asked me if I was a chef. Then she asked me if I did the food for her friends' Mark & Rachel's wedding. She introduced herself, and then “Stacie” proceeded to describe every one of the hors d'Oeuvres on the menu.

Stacie was incredibly kind and told me how much she loved every single thing and that was the new mission.
